Our 2023 Italian Pavilion was on the first week of the Festival, August 6 - 19 and it was an exciting week!!!
The Italian Pavilion was there since the beginning and we are proud to still be here in 2023. As we celebrate this milestone year, we are excited to tell you that we have some extraordinary treats in store for you!! A highlight of every summer, the Italian Pavilion will be at the
Centro Caboto Centre from August 6 - 12, 2023.
The 2023 theme, Made in Italy will bring visitors on a journey through this beautiful peninsula! Our world-class singers and dancers will help visitors visualize their adventure. Our top-notch cuisine by none other than Sorrento’s at the Caboto featured the tastes of Italy. The American Business Association consistently regards Folklorama as one of the 100 Top Cultural Events in North America.
Our Pavilion welcomes close to 7,000 visitors yearly. People come from all over to take part in this festival.
Are you interested in becoming an Adult or Youth Ambassador for the Italian Pavilion at 2024 Folklorama? Each year, we select two adult and two youth ambassadors to represent the pavilion. Being an ambassador is not overly taxing and is really fun.
Ambassadors are the spokespeople for the Festival and for the Italian Pavilion. You should be well-versed on your culture and heritage, be outgoing and personable, and ideally, have volunteered at the Italian Pavilion before.
Youth Ambassadors must be between 14 and 17 years old. Adult Ambassadors must be at least 18 years old as of May 1, 2024.
Ambassadors have specific responsibilities. There are 6 mandatory appearances:
As an ambassador, you must also participate at the Pavilion for the week that we operate.
Our 2023 Ambassadors completed an amazing year and we thank them for their representation of our pavilion at opening events. The Youth ambassadors were Michael Houzon and Olivia Constantino. The Adult ambassadors were Samantha Houzon and Marcella Constantino.
Each year we create and distribute a Sponsorship Package showcasing all that the Italian Pavilion has to offer. To help facilitate this event, we are offering a unique opportunity for you and your organization to become involved as a sponsor of the Italian Pavilion.
The package has information, details, and a list of benefits. Please note your sponsorship has its advantages!
2024 will be the 52nd edition of the Italian Pavilion. We are also producing a commemorative program that each guest visiting our Pavilion will receive. Our program and sponsors list is now complete. Come to the pavilion to get your copy of the program with your paid entry to the pavilion.
