After 5 years of intense work, the Manitoba Italian Canadian Archival Committee, consisting of Caterina (Bueti) Sotiriadis, Cristina Campomanes, Anna Dell’Acqua and Eliana Handford, presented their project to the Italian community at the Centro Caboto on October 26th.

The enormous task consisted of interviewing and videotaping 101 Italian Canadian immigrant seniors , amassing, sorting and cataloging boxes of textual material revealing the commitment of the various Italian associations , with the culmination of the project of a documentary revealing the journey these immigrants undertook from their homeland to the successes and accomplishments they achieved in their province.
